Matsumoto’s Shave Ice

MGA was selected by the Matsumoto family to provide design services for the renovation, addition and transformation of their landmark, historic shave ice store into the new Kamehameha Schools North Shore shopping center. With the addition of another retail space adjacent to the original store, Matsumoto’s expanded both retail and food sales areas. The new addition includes the kitchen, back-of-house and shave ice sales while the merchandising remains in the renovated original store.
