MGA Architecture was selected to design this landmark ground-up flagship store for Walgreens as its first entree into the local Waipahu community. Inspiration for the custom design was drawn from the culture/character of the old plantation villages, while providing enhanced design aesthetics and character for the longstanding transitional neighborhood. Located along the future commuter rail line, this property anticipates significant visibility and traffic.

This project represents the first of several new projects for MGA with Walgreens as they expand dramatically within the Hawaii marketplace.
